A CASE OF TOURETTE´S DISEASE

Abstract

Still 1967, they had empathized the significance of Psychological causes as the etiology of Tourette syndrome, but recently, we think that Tourette syndrome is the complex neuropsychiatric disoder probably due to the genetic influences, the dysfunction of brain, and the various biochemical disfunction.
It is characterized by involuntary, rapid, purposeless and frequently changing, motor and phonic tics and a range of behavioral symptoms. Scientific interset in Tourette´s disorder has been increased dramatically over the past decade.
As recently, the interest of childhood psychiatry has been increased, we find frequently the tic disorders and the attention deficit hyperactivity disorders. We have experienced a case of´Tourette syndrom, and reports the case with a brief review of literature.
